The official trailer for Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice hit the internet this week and sent fans into a frenzy, including us here at Cartoon Photobooth. It’s a true teaser of what is to come and does not get much better that this.

That is until this awesome Retro Style Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice trailer hit You Tube produced by 18-year-old Bobby Burns. Instead of Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill facing off Burns has replaced them with the classic characters as portrayed by Adam West and Christopher Reeve.

Most parents remember the 90’s Basketball craze with one of the greatest ever athletes, Michael Jordan from the C Bulls, leaping into our hearts with his awesome slam dunks and cool Nike Air Jordan’s. Most will also recall the time he teamed up with television’s most beloved cartoon characters, Bugs Bunny in the hirarious movie Space Jam.

Today, Jordan Brand, in partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, announces the return of the Hare Jordan campaign. As part of the 30th anniversary of the Air Jordan franchise, Jordan Brand and Warner Bros. Consumer Products will introduce Hare Jordan products starting in spring 2015.

“Michael Jordan continues to be the inspiration and reference for how we run the Jordan Brand today,” said Larry Miller, President of the Jordan Brand. “We draw inspiration not only from his unwavering commitment to greatness, but also the creative innovation he brought to the game of basketball. The Hare Jordan campaign was a whole new way to celebrate the fun of the game, and we look forward to working with our partners at Warner Bros. Consumer Products for a new take on this classic.”

The original Hare Jordan collection debuted in 1992 following Jordan’s first championship season. Jordan and Looney Tunes star Bugs Bunny first partnered for the iconic ad, which aired during the professional football championship game, to announce the original partnership between the two brands.

The popularity of the campaign continued to grow over the years, culminating in a major motion picture starring Jordan, Bugs and their friends from the hardwood and the animated Looney Tunes universe.

 “Each is an iconic figure and legend in his own right, but together Bugs Bunny and Michael Jordan are an unbeatable combination on and off the court,” said Brad Globe, President, Warner Bros. Consumer Products. “We are excited to partner with Jordan Brand to reintroduce Hare Jordan to an entirely new generation of fans with this limited-edition collection that includes a mix of classic and cutting-edge styles.”

In the coming year, Jordan Brand will release an array of footwear and apparel in new and original silhouettes globally.

Warner Bros. have announced the first-ever Scooby-Doo LEGO sets will be available in August inspired by classic animated series.

Five new building sets will bring the zaniness of classic characters including Shaggy, Scooby and the entire gang to life in LEGO form.

In another first, the Scooby Gang will be animated in LEGO form with a 22-minute LEGO special! There is more good news for fans with Warner Bros. also releasing brand new made-for-DVD movie titles in the coming years.

“Fans always wonder which properties may come to life in LEGO form, and this year we are thrilled to bring all of the mystery, humor and hijinks of the Scooby-Doo universe to life in LEGO toys and animated content,” said Jill Wilfert, vice president, licensing & entertainment at The LEGO Group. “We constantly review properties to find those with global reach, great characters and stories and inherent building and role play opportunities, and we think that Scooby-Doo delivers on all of these while also driving strong appeal among collectors and today’s parents who have strong nostalgia for the LEGO brand from their own childhood.”

 DreamWorks Animations, How To Train Your Dragon 2 movie was awarded the coveted Golden Globe for Best Animated Film at the 2015 Golden Globes ceremony on Sunday night in Los Angeles. It was a fantastic result and most deserving against some big name competitors like the Lego Movie and Big Hero 6 etc.

In addition, How To Train Your Dragon 2 also topped the worldwide box office as the #1 Grossing Animated Movie of 2014!

The Penguins of Madagascar hit movies and the Cartoon Photobooth on New Years Day to excellent reviews.

“None of what the movie offers is a surprise, but everything is done to a high standard. It looks wonderful, shiny and bright and deep in perspective in 3D; the animation is extraordinarily detailed, as we expect. The script travels at light speed, careless of logic but full of incident. The jokes are never-ending and multilayered, calculated so that adults do not get bored – which is important, because they buy the tickets. It’s all bolted together with precision and good humour, although not much whimsy.”  Film critic for the Sydney Morning Herald.
